What we believe...

The Scriptures (Bibliology)

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the inspired Word of God, the final authority for faith and life, inerrant in the original writings, infallible and God-breathed. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Matt. 5:18; John 16: 12-13)

The Godhead (Theology Proper)

We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, co-equal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections. (Deut. 6:4, 2 Cor. 13:14)

The Person and Work of Christ (Christology)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men. (John 1:1,2,14; Luke 1:35)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a representative and vicarious substitutionary sacrifice; and that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead. (Rom. 3:24-25; I Peter 2:24; Eph. 1:7; I Peter 1:3,5)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to heaven, and is now exalted at the right hand of God, where as our Great High Priest, He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate. (Acts 1:9-10; Heb. 9:24; 7:25; Rom. 8:34; I John 2:1-2)

The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit (Pneumatology)

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and of judgment; and that He is the Supernatural Agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption. (John 16:8-11; 2 Cor. 3:6; I Cor. 12:12-14; Rom. 8:9; Eph. 1:13-14)

We believe that He is the Divine Teacher who guides believers into all truth; and that it is the privilege and duty of all the saved to be filled with the Spirit. (John 16:13; I John :20,27; Eph. 5:18)

The Total Depravity Of Man (Anthropology)

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam's sin the human race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God: and that man is totally depraved, utterly unable to remedy his lost condition. (Gen. l: 26,27; Rom. 3. 22-23, 5:12; Eph 2: 1-3,12)

Salvation (Soteriology)

We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace alone and received by personal faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on the Cross for the forgiveness of our sins. (Eph. 2:8-10; John 1:12 Eph. 1:7: 1 Peter 1:18-19)

We believe that all of the redeemed. once saved, are kept by the power of God, and are thus secure in Christ forever. (John 6:37-40; 10:27-30: Rom. 8: 1, 38-39; 1 Cor. l: 4-8; 1 Peter 1:5)

We believe that perseverance of the faith is an evidence of one's salvation; and that it is the privilege of believers to rejoice in the assurance of their salvation through the testimony of God's Word; which however, clearly forbids the use of Christian liberty as an occasion to the flesh. (Col. 1:21-23; Heb. 3:6; Rom. 13: 13-14; Gal. 5:13: Tines 2: 11-15)

The Church (Ecclesiology)

We believe that the Church, which is the body and espoused bride of Christ, is a spiritual organism made up of all born-again, spirit baptized persons of this present age. (Eph 1:22-23; 5:25-27; 1 Cor. 12:12-14; 2 Cor. 11:2)

We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures.

Missions

We believe that it is the obligation of the saved to witness by life and by word to the truths of the Scriptures and to seek to proclaim the Gospel to all mankind (Matt. 28: 18-20, Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8; 2 Cor. 5:11-21)

Separation 

We believe that the saved should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach to their Savior and Lord: and, that separation from all religious apostasy, all worldly and sinful pleasures, practices, and associations is commanded by God. (I Tim 3: 1-5; Rom. 12: 11-12: 14:13; 1 John 2:l5-17; John 9-11: 2 Cor. 6:14 - 7:1)

Last Things (Eschatology)

We believe the Church of Jesus Christ will be caught up to meet Him in the air before the 70th week of Daniel, called the Great Tribulation. We believe there will be a seven year period called the Great Tribulation following the Rapture of the Church. We believe the Church will not go through any part of the Tribulation. (I Thessalonians 1:10; II Thessalonians 2; Revelation 3:10; I Thessalonians 5:1-11) We believe that following the Tribulation and Judgment there will be a 1,000 year earthly reign of Christ in what is called the Millennial Kingdom. Its end will consummate time as we know it. (Revelation 20:4)

We believe that following the Millennial Kingdom; will come the judgment of Satan and his angels, and the Great White Throne Judgment of the unsaved. (Revelation 20:10-15) We believe that after the Millennial Kingdom and Judgments, will follow a New Heaven and a New Earth, with a heavenly Jerusalem for all saints of God to dwell in for eternity.

The Doctrine of the Family

We believe God created the family unit , consisting of a husband, wife, and, if God so chooses to bless, children, as the foundation upon which society is to rest and be built. Anything other than a monogamous, heterosexual relationship in marriage is strictly forbidden. (Genesis 2:21-25; Genesis 4:1,2; Leviticus 20:10,13; 1 Corinthians 7: 1-4)

We believe human life is propagated through the family unit and that all human life is sacred, that life begins at conception, and all human life is to be protected. (Psalms 139:13-17; Genesis 9:6; Psalms 127:3)

We believe God is the only one Who can judge whether a person should live or die and that "viability" or any other terms used to judge the quality of life of an individual is a determination only God can make. (Exodus 21:22-25)

The Doctrine of Israel

We believe in God’s sovereign selection of Israel as His eternal Covenant people and that she is now dispersed because of her disobedience and rejection of Christ. (Romans 11:1-32)

We believe the Church and Israel are distinct from each other. Israel existed prior to the Church, which began at Pentecost. (Genesis 12ff; Acts 2:1) Israel and the Gentiles are contrasted after the church was clearly established. (Acts 3:12; Acts 4:8,10; Acts 5:21,31,32; Acts 21:19) Israel and the Church are clearly distinguished showing the church is not Israel. (I Corinthians 10:31)

We believe God has not cast out His "people" Israel, that even at "this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace" and that after "the fullness of the Gentiles be come in” at the end of the Great Tribulation, "all Israel will be saved". (Romans 9-11)
